Project Description: Working for contractor Keepmoat, this Housing & Care 21 scheme provided 66 Extra Care apartments in the residential area of Edlington, Doncaster, and also incorporated lounge facilities, restaurant, laundry, and hairdressing salon amongst other facilities. The building was opened by the Mayor.

Construction Overview: Goodson Associates were involved in the early feasibility considerations for this site working with Housing & Care 21, project managers Henry Riley, architects Langtry Langton and Design & Build contractors Keepmoat. The three storey building is traditionally constructed with precast concrete floors supported on load bearing masonry walls incorporating localised steelwork framing at ground floor to create the larger clear open areas for the residents.
