Project Description: Stolzle-Flaconnage are specialist glass manufacturers, situated in Knottingley in West Yorkshire. The construction works included the construction of a new two storey ‘Customer Centre’, the construction of a new elevated ‘Cold End’ production floor – 6.5metres above their exisitng service road, various remedial works to offices and their exisitng production works, and associated car parking, landscaping and external works.

Construction Overview: With an involvement at the early stages of the project to understand the client requirements of both the new buildings and the operating processes during the various stages of the construction period, Goodson Associates working for Contractor Lumsden and Carroll alongside the client, architect and specialist steel fabricator the designs were developed through the feasibility, budget estimation and construction phases and included large industrial steelwork, reinforced below ground concrete substructures and foundations, and the associated co-ordination of details.
